One-pan creamy paprika chicken with mushrooms


One-pan meal options are my favourite – fewer things to clean! This Keto and LCHF-friendly creamy paprika chicken dish is super quick to whip up and will satisfy your taste buds.

The basic ingredients you’ll need to make this creamy, LCHF paprika chicken dish.

Ready to tuck in! Serve it with cauliflower prepared to your liking, or cabbage noodles.
One-pan creamy paprika chicken with mushrooms (LCHF, Paleo)
Serves 3
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 400g can chopped tomatoes
- 250ml cream
- 250g mushrooms, quartered
- ½ tablespoon paprika
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- ±400g chicken breasts, cut into strips
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Method
- Add butter to a medium-hot pan and saute the onions until soft.
- Add the chopped tomatoes, cream, mushrooms, paprika, cayenne pepper and garlic. Reduce the sauce, stirring occasionally, for about 15 minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Add the chicken and simmer for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce thick and creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper, and remove from the heat.
- Serve with caulirice or cabbage ‘noodles’.
